Let's not forget, Spielberg's War of the Worlds, I really wanted to shoot myself during the 30 minutes (at least it seemed that long) of Tom Cruise stuck in the basement with Tim Robbins, and was glad when Tom Cruise's character finally killed him. The biggest problem Spielberg has with Sci-Fi is he has too many long 'dramatic' scenes where nothing is really going on and it's just a waste of film and people's time.
