i think it has to do with the daily activity of most GD posters as well. On AD or other PA related parts of the boards you will find only very few posters that post daily and more than 1 time in a thread and even less who create own threads as well ( Sometimes because there is just nothing going on alliance wise like the last weeks of r14 where AD was about dead).

GD creates a lot more threads and posts and for that probably more rep as well - that combined with the higher rep level because of more posts per user leads to super rep users quickly
(there are not many 1000+ post users on AD for example)
