Baron Morte, if you are frustrated by the AI take some time and play a multiplayer game. If you are genuinely good at th game then surely testing your intelect against human opposition would interest you.
I think the best improvement to the new Civ game is shipping it with reasonable multiplayer support... welcome to the 21st century Sid.
