Anyhow back to my original point, I should be allowed to make big armies and conquer people. Well or maybe I shouldn't consider myself to be as good as an empire as Persia.

You know I've pretty much read the thick manual inside and out and I still don't seem to be doing well at all. What's a great way to increase my skill? I usually play FPS and RTS, and I think I sometimes try to play Civ 4 as if it were an RTS.
