Re: Things to bring to uni
a duvet, and I can't stress this enough. Most halls will only fgive you crappy sheets that will itch, so a nice duvet (with at least 3 sets of covers) from home is a very good idea.
I'm sure there was a thread about exactly this subject this time last year though... (not criticising, but might be worth searching for that and see what the OP thinks now of the replies then...)
