some time ago we celebrated my uncle's 50th anniversary. we went to some hippy restaurant that looked like a jungle. they only served vegetarian food. i tried tofu there. it didn't really look like anything, smell like anything or taste like anything. unlike chicken.
i don't care how soja beans etc can replace meat by also providing vitamins/minerals and all that, it can't replace the
taste. good (tasty) food is for me personally one of the things i can enjoy intensely. therefore i'll never ever become vegetarian/vegan.
(and chickens are so small because that way we can keep many of them in small areas).
