As Patrick frowns out at the rest of the people in the room he
processes what is happening and looks back at the little place he had
come out of, he read the plaque in front of it and found little of
interest, when the m16 went off he twitched in surprise instinctively
bringing up and cocking the seven barrelled gun that his hand had
unconsciously come to rest on and levelled it at the soldier in an odd
uniform

I'll ask you to not do that again

As his mind settled into the fact that something was wrong and he had
been placed into a wholly unimagined situation he started to fall back
into the mind-set of an officer

Now, two things, I want everyone to give me their name so that we at
least know who we are, and then I think we all had better start making
a collective effort to figure out just what the hell has happened.
