History As an officer and pilot in the U.S. army during WWII, Zorro was among those who volunteered to help the RAF defend Britain against the Germans "Operation Sea Lion". The British had the advantage of radar on their side, but the Germans superior numbers and aircraft were overwhelming. After graduating officer flight school, as was the custom, his flight squad gave each other nicknames. Eric was dubbed "Zorro", meaning "fox", because of his ability to get behind enemy fighters to shoot them down. Zorro was in the midst of helping the RAF with a wave of German fighters when a storm began to develop. The weather became unusually strong and as the Germans backed off, Zorro turned to head back with the RAF. A blinding flash of light and a loud clap indicated to him he had been hit by lightning, but as his eyes readjusted, he realized he was not in his plane anymore at all.



Still wearing his flight suit, his gun holstered at his side, Zorro realizes he seems to be without his supply pack, which would have gone with him had he ejected from his plane. Seeing as how he didn't eject, where was he? Had he died? Dead men needed no guns, but for some reason he had his, albeit no extra ammo. Cautiously, he steps out of the room he was in and into the main room, looking for anything that might indicate where he was.
