He woke up, thinking he heard a sound from the cockpit. Focussing on trying to hear any sound as he sat up, he heard none. He looked at the girl, but felt no tears welling up. Maybe he was done crying... Maybe it was...

His head jerked to the doorway as he heard another sound. This time he recognised it and knew where it was coming from. Someone had just docked with his ship and was going through the airlock cycle. Why would anyone dock with his shi... Unless... Had they managed to follow him, or find him on such short notice? He hadn't even buried her yet, they couldn't be that cruel, could they? Had they pissed them off that much?

Questions, questions! He would have them answered later, but now... if his feelings about the visitors were right... it was time for action. He quietly got up and quickly, though as silent as possible, made his way to the cockpit, securing his blaster. Holding it in hand, he backtracks his way to the bedroom and throws a quick look at the dead body.

They didn't even give me time to bury her...

He yelled out, his voice echoing through the mostly empty ship. Weapon steady in hand, he rushed over to the airlock, finger at the trigger and more than eager to lay down whoever they had sent.
