After picking up the watch, Adam is prevented from grabbing the white ring by some strange force. The rings that Trisk grabs (fire and spirit) can be felt eminating massive amounts of power as the elements seem to flow through them. But what do they do exactly? How do you use them? John re-appears.

"You are probabaly wondering about the functions of those objects. The watch is a particle accelerator. Basically, when you switch past the normal time mode and stopwatch mode you will go onto a screen that says HT at the top. This is short for "Hyper-Time". When you enter this mode, anything you are touching at the time will enter it with you. All else around you will be moving so slow it will almost seem to stand still. The rings are part telepathic. Get a clear mental picture of what it is you want to happen (as long as the elemental pertaining to the ring is concerned) and point it towards the target area and call out the elements name, beit earth fire wind water or spirit. The spirit ring will enable you to change the moods of others, communicate with animals, as well as minor thought transfer. "

John hands the other rings (earth wind water) to Andy and Hannah.

"I have taken care of the others. They are safe back at the hotel. You now have a quest. After making these element and time controlling devices, the scientists of Atlantis researched further and created even more powerful equipment. Unfortunately, such power is not easily controlled and our entire nation was destroyed by our own creations. However, these items were not destroyed. A prophecy was proclaimed before our destruction.

"A time shall arise in that some shall arise to take the very powers that now threaten our great nation. They shall find the hiding place in the great sea and the fate of the very world will be at hand, for they shall not be able to control the power within the gloves. The world shall then meet the same fate as Atlantis unless the few chosen ones who shall possess the rings can defeat them."

At this moment in the hologram, a lot more comotion is heard, metal flies around like paper, and finally a great explosion ends it all.
