I have a 128Mb Radeon 9800 Pro, and it beats the shit out of a Radeon 9200LE I have with 256Mb.

Graphics card manufacturers often put huge amounts of RAM on their terrible cards for people who think "more ram ===== better!"

It's more of a problem with desktop systems than with laptops but the point remains - look at what the cards are first, not the RAM.
