I fail to see how exactly it would be a world war if they did nuke Israel anyway. Isreal is essentually at war with the whole of the middle east anyway. I cant see the rest of the world would getting dragged into it.

Only America would stick up for isreal and no one else would really care. Isreal would turn iran into glass. The end result being more anti-semetic attitutes in muslim communities and more anti-American feeling in the whole world.
