I used the Xandathrri skin in-game. That is how a skin should be, clean uncluttered, good graphics (preferably not made in Paint).

I do like the design put forward by MrLobster, to dism,iss it due to none free graphics is ridiculous, as these can easily be replaced.

There certainl needs to be a Flash landing creen created ASAP, the Ogame homepage pisses on the Planetarion one from a HUUUUUGE height tbh. Or see Eve Online for a clean landing page.
