Old riddle (may be too easy):
You're in a room and there is a door into another room and three light switches beside the door. There are three lamps in the other room which can be turned on using the switches in the first room. How do you figure out which switch controls which lamp? You can open the door only once and you can't touch the switches after that.
(also you don't see any light when the door is closed, and you can't touch the wiring)
