The only hope the authorities have is to start a massive campaign making downloading music comparable to downloading child porn. otherwise i don't really see what the point of any of these raids are. Its hardly like they've dented anyones ability to get that music.
Nevertheless the discussion above on 'worth' is interesting. It reminds me of one of the videos that angrynintendonerd person on YT made, in it he commented that back in the days of the NES you'd pay £/$50 for a computer game without having any real appreciation of how shit it truly was. There was no internet to provide real discussion and the major widely available magazines were little more than corporate add ons. I may not pay musicians for taking their time to compile music; but on the other hand i don't have to pay them for wasting my time wading through crap, it all balances out.
