*flapjack held tight as the gaurdians hit the USS stellar voyage's aft shields, the ship shuddering heavily under the impact and a random panel sending sparks off into the bridge. The operations officer quickly recovered and yelled out a damage report*

operations: Aft shields at 40%, minor damage to engineering section, EPS overload on deck 3, section C and D, rerouting power to those sections

tactical: hostile coralskippers in front of have been kindly removed from space

operations: great, then try doing the same to those ships behind us

tactical: now how am i supposed to hit those things? i've only got 3 phasers there

*the tactical officer quickly hits a few controls and the three aft phasers fire again, pulverising 3 of the chasing coralskippers*

operations: that won't do, those coraldevastators are going to rip us apart

me: helm, let's do some wacked maneuvering, keep the Impulse fields at full power but stop the main drive, then bring us about ON THRUSTERS ONLY

helm: sir, that's against regulations, we're not allowed to....

No1: do as the captain says before i relieve you of duty and let you handle those ships with your bare hands !!

helm: aye, sir

me: tactical, when we come about, give those devastators a taste of our photon torpedoes

tactical: my pleasure sir

*The USS stellar voyage's main drive suddenly appeared to shutdown while the ship continued on its course, slowly begin to drift as it did. Suddenly several thrusters ignite on the ship's hull and push the ship's nose back in the other direction, now facing towards the coraldevastators as the tactical officer again hits his control panel in what appears to be an uncontrolled spasm but what proves out to be a well coordinated barrage of attacks, a single photon torpedo being fired at the lead coraldevastator and detonating when it attempted to stop the torpedo with its Dovil Basions and succeeding, but detonating the torpedo in the process and causing the annihilation of the singularity, which in turn results in a much more powerfull blast, easily destroying the first coraldevastator and sending several others spiralling around randomly as well as wiping out nearly half of the coralskippers flying escort. At almost the same time the phaser arrays fired at full power, each targetting a gaurdian and each crippling its target*

operations: what the, that blast was way more then the yield of that torpedo

helm: <scared voice> now could i turn the ship back?? </scared voice>
