I know. But Nod's question assumed a special kind of player, that didn't cooperate with other players. #4 and #5 can with some cooperation in their voting get more than without any cooperation. So by not cooperating, they do not vote in the way that would give them most.
Nod did not make it clear what a voted would do if faced with the choice of accepting 0$, and voting out the guy offering them 0$, and still get nothing.
