The amusing part of all this is that this "feature" was (presumably) introduced to make life easier for the "less active". In reality, it will actually only benefit the actives.
That's what we always see with ill-conceived and hastily implemented changes.
When will we learn to stop changing things just for the sake of change - or to see what will happen "because it can't be worse than leaving things as they are"? (Don't answer that).
