Re: [Football] Rooney
He hasn't played there all season; and Sven seems content to keep him as spare center back / utility full back. He's capable of playing anywhere in the midfield or the defence, (and was a striker as a kid) but afaik, even when he played in central positions for liverpool, it was part of a 4-4-2, rather than a 4-5-1, - the difference between the holding role in each is pretty big
