How is this in any way close to how the reality was? In the end, there were 3 alliances who could not hit our gal, that's it. And certainly two of those three were added fairly late in the round. But yeah, please enlighten me as to how ascendancy fenced majorly this round, or indeed had protection from more than 4 alliances (a number which you had protecting your gal since pt 1)
