We're consolidating our position, Evolution aren't being hit by us when they have Apprime (who have more or less given up on us) to deal with. Mainly because Apprime feel they're owed help or something. I'm sure Apprime really thought of that when they wanted to work with Ascendancy to take down some alliances and quite probably, Evolution (although I have no specific details of that). Obviously we had other priorities (them) and did no such thing. But to get back to the point, it's mutually beneficial.

You talk about us 'playing politics' really well, but for the most part we've done the simple thing of not pissing off people we didn't need to piss off. We haven't won yet so going into some uber analysis of where this round was won and lost is unnecessary.
