and my point is that there is plenty of technically acceptable (i stop far short of 'good') emo music, but the sticking point is THE WANKERS MAKING IT AND WHAT ITS MADE ABOUT. most of the "good" emo bands would be much better if they stripped out the lyrics and made noise/post-rock.
