You all pile into the Minnow as Connor shoves off, radoing in to harbor patrol as well as checking the GPS. He explains the history of the island as you go

"The demi-god Maui is a household name from Tonga to the Society Islands, to the Marquesas to Hawai'i. Something of a trickster, Maui had a place in his heart for mortals and is celebrated throughout the Pacific for such feats as giving fire to humans (after stealing it from its supernatural guardians) and fishing the islands of the Pacific from out of their watery depths.

My personal favorite island is Niihau though, due to its being untouched by the modern world even to this day. It is privately owned, but we have permission to tour it today, so I hope you all brought your cameras!"

He checks again for a weather report, which comes back excellent. He checks the GPS and heads in the direction of Niihau. The warm Hawaiin sun is complimented by the occasional dolphin swimming alongside the boat. Suddenly a call comes in over the radio.

"Sudden storm coming in from the west. All mariners please report position, number of persons aboard your vessel and type of vessel you are navigating. All vessels should return to safe harbor immedietly."

The sky grows dark and ominous as the wind starts to pick up and a light rain begins to fall.

Connor turns to you as he picks up the radio "There are lifejackets under the seats. Put them on while I..."

Before he can finish a bright flash of light illuminates the sky and the accompaning thunder is deafening. The rain falls so hard that vision is limited to only about a couple hundred yards or so. The waves swell larger by the moment, rocking the boat while the wind begins to push it to the port side. Before anyone reaches the lifejackets the boat is picked up by a monstrous wave and crashed into a reef. Remy and Roy are thrown from the boat and can be heard for only a few moments before dissapearing. Trisk and Adam both fall, hitting their heads on the side of the boat, knocking themselves out. Connor scrambles drag them into the cabin. As he shuts the door, another wave capsizes the boat. The undertow prevents Andy and Hannah from surfacing.

FLAPJACK
You stuggle to keep your head above the water as the current carries you against your will in an unknown direction. Every once in a while you see Roy's head bobing up and down in the waves, gasping for breath. After what seems like an eternity, you feel sand under your feet and only have enough strength to walk to the beach before passing out. When you awake, the weather is calm and Roy is lying on his back in the sand 10 yards down the beach. He's awake, but still rather shooken up. To your left and right are more beach, which curve out of view in both directions. In front of you there is a forest of palms and other Hawaiin vegetation. The rest of the group and the boat are nowhere to be seen.

ADAM
You regain conciousness in the cabin of the Minnow, which has run aground on a sandbar. Adam stirs as you survey the situation. The radio lies off the hook, the GPS appears non-functional. To the starboard side of the boat lies a small island. The water between the boat and the island is quite shallow, perhaps knee deep. Connor is nowhere to be seen, nor are the others.

SLICK
You are about to give up and give into drowning after the boat capsized when Hannah grabs your hand. You can barely make out a steep wall of sand that has a tunnel opening which is sucking Hannah toward it, and you as well. The current in the tunnel is quite strong, and you quickly surface in an underground cavern. It's hard to see, but a hole in the cieling provides light to the room. The weather appears to be calm above, but you can tell the walls will be impossible to scale. Some pieces of driftwood and other random things lie around the cavern room. Besides the way you came in, a dark, lightless tunnel going deeper into the cavern appears to be the only other possible method of escape.
