The Europeans tend to be a little behind when it comes to social networking, or maybe they are just a bit more social face to face. Either way in the UK it is essential to have facebook, in fact without facebook I sometimes whether or not I would see half the people I see.
The internet in the UK is still not really wholy accepted. But facebook slash myspace do have some credibility. It sounds daft I know.
Also I am not online 24/7 I login before work, at lunch at work and after work in the evening. No more than that, that's the same for most of the people my age.
