is the US army in any fit state to actually invade Iran? Even discounting the fact that they are much tougher invasion proposition than Iraq was (this is actually just a guess, so feel free to say im wrong
) the army is bogged down IN Iraq making invading ANYWHERE else very difficult.
Unless some miracle happens soon the only way the US would be ready would be by basically admitting defeat in Iraq and leaving the poor domestic forces to deal with the troubles there.
