Lie to yourself

Let's face it, you're a miserable **** and you drag down everyone around you. If you're not going to have the common decency to off yourself from the Forth Road Bridge or atop the local Morrisson's or what-have-you then at least convince yourself that you're not quite as worthless as you are so as to engender feelings of apathy amongst your cohorts rather than the usual derision you see in their eyes across a smokey pub.
