I don't know how much a gram is (is that enough for one hit?) but £30 is a weekly wage for most kids who have Saturday or afterschool jobs (at about £4 an hour). It might sound like a lot, but that's how they choose to spend their money for recreation instead of on food or clothes or video games or whatever.
