The key difference in how the Iranians dealt with the 15 sailors and how we treated the 17 held under suspect of terrorism in Belmarsh prison is that we didn't parade anyone in front of national media. Actually, I think the Iranians have been a little more specific with what the British are alleged to have done, and there's no evidence of mental deterioration in the prisoners as yet, and the they have been in custody for less time (some have been in Belmarsh for over 2 years).
