Well, from personal experience we (my employers) have certainly made changes to decisions we have made regarding transfers or repair issues after our local MPs (Jacqui Lait, the late Eric Forth and John Horam) have made interventions of various types. I suspec this is precisely the sort of thing Furball was talking about quite a few posts ago.

Now, I personally do not feel they were wisely spending their time when they did this but that does not really change anything.
