I strongly suspect that Joorabchian does have some sort of claim to the player.
How legitimate that claim is remains to be seen.
I suspect that if WHU and EPL continue to foil Joorabchians plans, it will get tested in court. :|
As has been pointed out, the consequences for EPL and WHU if its proven to be legit, are pretty appalling, and hilarious.
As far as I an see (and I should admit at this stage that I am an extremely biased MUFC fan), the worst case result for us, is that we waste time and money on all this bullshit, but it doesnt turn out to our liking, it looks increasingly unlikely that it will end satisfactorily for the prem or the Hammers!

I think both are making very sturdy rods for their own backs!
