Yeah, that stuff (about ship descriptions) was pointed out a while ago by a genuine new player on the forums (who then hilariously got flamed by a regular for wasting people's time so never let it be said that it's just pateam holding the game back). I never realised the jgp thing was still there, it must be at least 10 rounds since that changed. On a basic level there's just no will to actually make the game more open to new players, and certainly nothing being invested in actually making it such.
