The lack of ambition, guile, and defeatist attitude of someone sitting in an alliance "generally friendly with" and currently sitting in an EOR NAP with by far and away the strongest opposition is probably a touch more conspicuous than that of an alliance who routinely take that strong opposition head on, but have this round been left to die by everyone else.

Yes, an alliance currently sitting #7 that fills its ranks by mailing allianceless planets should probably be the one to pick up the mantle of fighting ultores after the rest of the more active and experienced universe decided to nap them. This has been a real wake up call, thank you for being willing to speak up.
