Using a Mac has been one of the most infuriating experiences of recent times, for me. At least when Windows does something retarded that you don't want it to there's generally a way of stopping it doing it any more.

Of course it's much better than a high end Dell/Windows laptop, because the high end Dell/Windows laptop will be much more powerful and until technology advances that requires a lot more juice than an iBook which runs at 1.2GHz.
