Wahay indeed.
You continue to watch as the ‘dirtbike dude’ lets go of the chain with the lady thief on the other end. When this happens Lt. Jackson bites back a curse and slams on the brakes. Since you are still holding onto his shotgun, you must stop also less you become clotheslined by the doubke barrelled weapon. The VX does get far away though – as soon as the dirtbike dude leaps into the vehicle about hundred metres away the car veers violently of to the right,
flies over the ditch and continues on it’s merry way producing a dust cloud that could probably be seen from the moon.
However, it is the thief that soon catches your attention. Coming to a stop about hundred metres behind you and Jackson, you consider her to be either dead or unconscious before surprisingly, the battered and bruised woman manages to climb to her feet.
Then she starts to run off.
Jackson: Well don’t just sit there! Go grab her before she gets away!
You wonder how the hell someone could get far in this burning wasteland but it is at that point that you realise that with the dirtbike dude in the VX, there is most likely a suped-up, pocket rocket, dirtbike lying not far away.
