Extra planets is growth? Also, never in the history of PA has there been any evidence of alliance size influencing the growth of the game or the level of enjoyment experienced by the players.
Imo it's far more important to make PaTeam realise they have to focus on creating interesting paths/playstyles to victory. The more different playstyles PA can accomodate, the bigger the chance new players will join and stick around. Once they do, alliances will form on their own, don't limit communities fs
. Focussing on keeping all those limits "for the good of the game", will just keep the game in it's isolation without ever becoming interesting again.
