I'd agree that the cost could certainly still be higher. At the moment it's a minimal expenditure assuming you end up somewhere you are happy to stay (specific or otherwise) relatively quickly.

Maybe it doesn't solve the problem, but planetarion has never been 'fair' to new or lower tier players. It's not going to be, unless you advocate a completely new game - maybe you do, but it's not...

You're right - which is why I said main obstacle instead of #1 alliance. I don't envisage a time when they won't be to be honest, they have far too much value stacked up.

Not really, I just have faith in some of the people who've taken over since the merge. Attacking Exi fufils both goals - stops them winning, and gives us a chance of doing so through the dodgy score...
