I quite like this idea, afterall in practical terms a bigger ship has more space for larger engines/drives and would probably be able to keep up with smaller craft with smaller engines.

to be honest, i think when u got piggies on a planet all ships that arent in the same ally (or perhap havent used the option kargool detailed above) should fight each other aswell as the defending...

this is supposed to be an intergalactic war game. To that end the main focus of the game should be on building up a hugezor fleet of ships as i imagine any respectable lord/emporer of a planet would...
