I always thought that 'something useful' would be a factory, the bigger the better. If your talking amps, a lot of players overdose on these so taking out one or two wont make too much difference.

I'll add 'Pharoah' to the list. Its a real easy all-round strategy game (not as good as civ3 though). My tip for the game, build plenty of bazaars ;)

Personally i agree with the whole idea of SK-specific defence. Maybe make a single SK-class ship for use by all races (an interstellar treaty on controversial arms?)....

how about having a "war" advantage that varies depending on your value or score... say 5% better att/def ability for those with low numbers, and -5% when you hit a certain size and vary it inbetween...
