Rooney can play with another deep lying striker as long as they don't go into the same positions which they won't. Rooney tends to play deep collecting the ball of the midfielders while Tevez drifts...

I agree with your assessment on Fletcher but I think if Hargreaves joins he'll slip down to fourth choice rather than leave the club, I can't ever see Fletcher being sold while Ferguson is in charge.

I think Chelsea's squad cost much, much more than Uniteds. At a guess I'd say the players Mourinho can pick from cost at least 100 million more than those at the disposal of Ferguson.
