Back To Hell
Ok, you're dead. You're in hell. You have one way out.
The Grim Reaper offers you a game. A game of your choice. You win, you get to return to the mortal realm. You lose, you live in Hell for eternity. Which game would you chose to play him at. You can't pick computer games, as with the exception of Champ Man and C&C, they're all for kids with adolescent odour and skin problems. (Yes, you can choose them Deepflow) I'd go for Monopoly. |
Re: Back To Hell
Well, assuming that I could pick any game at all it would have to be "first to not be the Grim Reaper" or something equally hilarious.
If I'm not allowed to be a smartarse then probably go, if the grim reaper isnt some huge genius at every game. Failing that, snakes and ladders. |
Re: Back To Hell
you've just been watching Bill and Ted haven't you!
What happened to your dinner party? I wouldn't play anything involving luck I don't think... I wouldn't trust the Grim Reaper not to cheat :( Maybe some kind of physical game, I wouldn't expect him to be very athletic... |
Re: Back To Hell
Pie eating contest.

Re: Back To Hell
My laptop is downstairs with the 3G connection so I have internet everywhere :)

Re: Back To Hell
Hands up everyone who thought the thread title meant that skiddy had been on a visit back to newcastle!
|
Re: Back To Hell
I thought it was something to do with drugs, but once i read what he said i knew what he meant..
and i agree with horn, the grim reaper would surely win in pretty much any game, or at least have an advantage. |
Re: Back To Hell
I would play him at snooker.

So stop trying to pussy foot out of it and think of something you're good at. Don't worry, this thread is backed up with the rest of it so you've as long as you need to think about it. |
Re: Back To Hell
Paper, rock scissors.
Best 3 out of 5. |

Two grown men in a bar getting very excited about rock paper sissors was apparently somewhat comical for the others to watch. |
Re: Back To Hell
Some game which purely relies on luck (as im sure the Grim Reaper has a better understanding of every game invented etc) ... give me a bit of time and i'm sure i'll think of something (maybe).

Re: Back To Hell
Clearly since he is always portrayed as a master of strategy, and clearly has been around for eons...so plenty of time to practice various things, I'd roshambo him for it. Kick him right in the nuts then leg it.
That is, if he has nuts. If not, then my broken foot would probably slow me down. |

It's a reference. So challenging him to anything remotely requiring intelligence is out of the window for you then... [edit] - way to go with the anon neg rep Sniborp, way big and clever. Congratulations on being the first person I have negrepped - i forgot to sign it, but it should be easy to work out what one is me. |
Re: Back To Hell
Cricket. I can imagine him being able to drink a lot of beer, but not run or bowl very fast.
Death must be David Boon |
Re: Back To Hell
a duel in world of warcraft for it - it wouldn't be my fault if he had never played before, and if he had, well, then it would be pretty much even :)

Re: Back To Hell
Chess. I might lose, but I would lose in style.

Forget winning, he'd never understand the thing. |

Truth or Dare.
Truth, I ask him how I can escape from Hell, and Dare, he has to appoint me doorkeeper for a day. Whichever he chooses, I'm laughing all the way to the Pearly Gates. |
Re: Back To Hell
Cribbage.
|
Re: Back To Hell
A fight to the death.
Or failing that, Chess. I'm not particularly good and I'd presume he'd win easily but I'd prefer to think if I was going to boil in hell for all eternity it'd be due to my own skills (or lack thereof) and not because he got lucky. I'd play him at Risk, but it's a bit pointless with only two players. If the other 3 horsemen joined in then that'd be my choice. |

So it's big and clever to neg rep someone for insulting you, but okay to neg rep back in spite? gg. Despite you saying 'Repeal Rep' in your signature you seem to have a problem with people neg repping you. |
Re: Back To Hell

Secondly - Yes, it is ok to neg rep back. Although usually I don't, as demonstrated by the fact tonight was the first time i can recall ever having given neg rep. Thirdly, I have Repeal Rep in my signature for the fact that all reputation ever does is create things like this. Fourthly, I can't be arsed to click on your little link, but I'm sure whatever it is was worth the effort of going and finding. I'm sure it has something to do with me complaining about neg rep or similar. Great. Yay. Woohoo. Whatever. Finally, **** off. |

Re: Back To Hell
