As I've said on previous ocassions, having images would be fine so long ;

i) only people who had been registered a year and had 1k posts could do them
ii) it was possible to disable someone's ability to post them without actually banning them
iii) you could turn it off as a user, without having to disable images generally in your browser.

With those three rules in place I can't really see much problem (aside from the fact there's no real need). If nothing else we could all witness the race to the bottom for worst image sig in the world which would inevitably occur on AD (or wherever it is the cool PA arguments happen these days).

Had AD/PD seperated by June 01, when Dante joined? When did they split up the original GD anyway?

This is my second forums account (which I created specifically to respond to a post in what I think was AD about my parallel alliance). So yeah.

Before that I lurked for a period with a crappily named (and now defunct) account.

At that point GD was a mixture of fairly unhilarious attempts at comedy and the odd Synthetic Sid post (which sadly, was usually the best bit). The AD split (which must have been April/May) meant I stopped bothering with GD for quite a while, until I noticed some debate about communism. I think.

I think what pig means is that when Dante loads up the forums, he reads the stuff on AD before moving on to GD.

Personally I work my way down the forums - PD, then Suggestions, then AD and so on. GD comes last of all.
