also, the hypocricy and stupidness of some people in this country starts irritating me more and more.
some people now made a website to show sympathy for the animal. :salute:

ok, so a BIRD was shot. BUT for **** sake people:

- it was in order to safe a major television-event that's broadcasted in a handful of countries, worth millions of euros;
- the guy that shot the bird has received a death-threat (i'm not joking);

and:

- would people whine if it was a mouse or rat instead of a bird?
- is one bird enough reason to keep 7 'animal protection' organisations occupied?
- why don't i see people getting angry over another newsfact that happened the same day: two kids trying to rob a disabled woman, who doesn't have any money with her. the kids then kick her out of her wheelchair, punch her and kick her more, then hang her dog up a fence so it dies.
far more shocking news if you ask me.

this country turned completely mental. :(

I shot a sparrow once with an air rifle. It didn't die, it just lay there and suffered in agony. I used the butt of the rifle to stop its suffering. I was 17. Nobody wrote a story about it for CNN. True story.

Not only that but it was "common." Had it been a "noble" Dutch sparrow, I could have seen the point.

Btw, on Fox it was reported as "Avian Terrorist Attacks Domino Stackers at Dutch Cultural Event."

I shot 3 sparrows in a barn, then had to finish 1 off. I was 15, still am 15.

Nobody wrote a CNN story about me either.

But the ****ing birds almost took my eye/head out several times. They deserved to be shot.

I see i was neg-repped for that post, which is fair enough, it was a stupid thing to do, but i was with my mate (well i say mate, but hes a bit of a wanker really) and he kinda pushed me to do it.

I didnt like doing it at all, it made me quite depressed later when i realised that was half a family dead.

And i lied, i'd actually shot 2 with the air rifle. But still, not something im proud of.

Sparrows here in the states are a common annoyance. I can't possibly count how many I have shot... upwards of 35 I'm sure.
