As of today, Tides of Fire no longer will exist as an alliance.

The active and more experienced members of the alliance have decided to start over with our active member base and a new command structure. We will be known as eVolutioN.

Please join us in our new public channel #eVolutioN.

We hope to become a stronger alliance through these changes.

Thank you Nadar i think it is best for everyone involved if i dont, suffice to say tho, that the Hc's who are no longer in command are damn good ppl , and at one time were damn awesome leaders, who for one reason or another are now not capable of effectively running a top 10 ally. I still have the upmost respect for them tho.

As of today, a movement has started to reorganize and restructure ToF. One of these reasons is inactivity of a key HC that were suppose to be the HEAD HC and our loyal members have stepped forward and demanded that something had to be done. Many members have left the last two weeks and i must say that was alot of loyal and long term members of the alliance, ofc it was not only the members that was sick of the sittuasion we had in the ally so were some of the HC, BC and DC and the alliance needed some propper changes and i will explain the basic of those changes here. We now have new leadership. We are moving from a CEO based alliance to a Republic based alliance. We will have 5 HC's. They will be in charge of every aspect of the alliance. The rest is for the alliance only and you all should know that ;)


Btw Kargool you should know a lil something about foul play don't you? Remember APA?

Some people took over and renamed the alliance, the original tof have reformed and should be back in alliance list now I belive.

After this hostile takeover of ToF, being renamed and turned into some new alliance called Evolution, the vast majority of the active and original ToF core instantly left evolution, and showed great spirit and strength throught all the backstabbing.

ToF is back, and is not going away, no foul play or hostile takeovers will get rid of us. This evolution alliance, is run by n00bs who didn't have the guts to see it through with ToF, and have now realised that they don't have the support or intelligence to make evolution the success they'd hoped for either.

Good ridance to Evolution I say, let the Tides of FIre rise from the ashes once more. So in response to the very first post in this thread.

quit your bs, and start telling the truth, act like the men you believe you are. You staged a hostile takeover, and lied to the members of ToF, in an attempt to convice them you were in the right. But as always the truth comes out.

Yes, I remember everything about what happend to APA and I remember me being very open about everything that happend then. But I see that the people in ToF didnt like the changes and recreated ToF, wich, the ex APA members could have done when APA was renamed..

Couldn't agree more with Kargool. Right now we have eVolutioN with 2 mil average score and 42 members and we have ToF with 18 members and 2 mil average score aswell. 60 members with 2 mil score doesn't sound exactly but almost like ToF from yesterday. So what's the point of this? Trying to set up a new alliance with the active core? Yeah right.

Well, since the evolution crew automatically took over all members, and everybody who is now in the ToF tag has reapplied, it's not a big shock that they got more members. We'l see what happens tomorrow when people return or get told the whole story. And the people who will stay in the evo tag are ToF probably better off without anyways ;)

It was a takeover that few wanted, afaik. I was shocked, to be honest. And more so when I found out they had been lying.

Oh well, ToF is still ToF, eVolution is just a bunch of backstabbing, lying pricks.

As has been said ToF has been restarted after the takeover. Very few members of ToF knew that it was going to take place and, to my knowlegde, only the new HC's and Officers of eVolution knew that the takeover was going to happen. I for one had no idea about it and i consider myself to be one of the most active members (though not a great deal over the late few weeks, damn rl) as well has being one of the biggest who thought things were needing changed.

There were things in ToF that needed sorted and dealt with but not like this and most certainly not in the manner it was carried out in. A large number of the active members have left eVolution, most are rejoining ToF but some people are heading else were for which i dont really blame them considering all the crap thats happened over the last 12 hours. I for one am back in ToF, has been my home for 3 rounds and i wont abandon it after all this.

The one good thing out of all this is that the reformed ToF alliance doesnt have any of the inactives that were hanging around before and, for a great part of them, we have members who are willing to work keep ToF alive as it is. The Round isnt over yet and neither is ToF by a long shot.

Score doesnt mean activity. Its easy to land a couple of attacks over the space of the whole round and gain a fair bit of score. Without ever realyl ebing active and particapating in an alliance. Sending defence ect....

I have a question though. Just out of intrest how many people were kicked out of ToF when it got renamed to evolution and how many just left???

Also how many of the HC team decided on the way forward that their alliance should take. From what i can tell its all the HCs except one who decided this(i am seriously lacking in hard facts im just going on hearsy at present please correct me if im wrong with this)

If this is the case(im not saying it is) Then its not so much a hostile takeover as a democratic decision on the way forward an alliance should take. If these people were untrustworthy then why were they ever made HCs?

I would love a little more information on whats been happening so i can make up my mind wether this was a fair decision or not. From what i have heard the HC team removed one of their own for inactivity and progressed forward with a new dynamic way their alliance should be run taking out the people who didnt contrabute to the alliance as a whole.

If they wanted to be democratic about it, They would have still been ToF. They could have dropped all the inactive players in-game, shuffled HC around and carried about their business.

Seems like eVolutioN is just a few pissed off people that started a new alliance and tried to dupe as many members from ToF into leaving in hopes that if enough left, ToF would just roll-over and die. Sounds about right to me/

From what I got told a currant HC promoted Bode to HC ingame, and the between them they demoted all other HC and made a post that the inactives were being kicked.

I supported the idea behind eVolution, but the way they've handled this is just vry vry low imo.
As a result i've quit eVolution caus i don't want to have part in any of it.
I thought yesterday we were supposed to explain our plans to fellah & talk things over.

Just a note to clarify what has happened.

I am a founder member of ToF and was given no idea of what was going to happen. I arrived online to find my Alliance had been mugged.

There are ways of doing these things but I am afraid to say this was not carried out in an appropriate manner.

Sorry guys but you just don't do that to people.

with the support of most members and officers, we are reforming ToF. we'll be fully back for next round, its a shame it happened, i lost a lot of faith in ppl i respected and liked but thats passed us now !! i'd like to tank some ppl for really being here and supporting us in this hard. a formal ToF announcement will be made later today !!
