this article really made me smile. In a society were our kids are getting fatter yet we are obsessed with how thin our partners are it is almost refreshing to see a writer talk about fat men in a positive light.

Saying that I want to get thin, as she is probably a rare commodity.

This thread isn't to say much, other than read that article and think of me!

I find it amusing that all the time spent in trying to get rid of social pressure related to one's looks (especially with girls and anorexia), now we've managed to throw the ball around more.

Yeah. I'm in favour of live-once-have-a-nice-life fat or thin. (by saying so, I'm rather slim myself, but I on the other hand have the problem that I'm too lazy to work out, and I can really eat quite a lot without gaining any weight).

On more than one occassion I've overheard two girls talking and one will say to the other something along the lines of "What about this guy" - vaguely gesturing in my direction. And the other invariably replies "Nah, he's way too skinny." :(

So it's not just fatties who suffer.
