When will the hurting stop?

Wikipedia allows the use of B.C.E. instead of B.C. and C.E. instead of A.D. The dates are based on the birth of Jesus, so why pretend otherwise? Conservapedia is Christian-friendly and exposes the CE deception.
I stopped reading there.

(not really, I wish I did though)

Check out the 'Liberal Bias on Wikipedia' section.

Did you know it uses British spelling of words?

I love this little gem:

Quote:

Wikipedia often uses foreign spelling of words, even though most English-speaking users are American. Look up "Most Favored Nation" on Wikipedia and it automatically converts the spelling to the British spelling "Most Favoured Nation." Look up "Division of labor" on Wikipedia and it automatically converts to the British spelling "Division of labour," then insists on the British spelling for "specialization" also.[9] Enter "Hapsburg" (the European ruling family) and Wikipedia automatically changes the spelling to Habsburg, even though the American spelling has always been "Hapsburg". Within entries British spellings appear in the silliest of places, even when the topic is American. Conservapedia favors American spellings of words.
While the original German spelling is Habsburg.....

A site crying out to be hacked if ever i seen one. Continues to prove my theory that American christian religious groups are just as scary as anything to originate from the middle/far east.

that seems like an odd comparison to make until the american christian religious groups start coming up with...well...you know... chemical weapons, for example.

Why would they bother when they've got the ear of the White House?

Certainly the preference for "labor" over "labour" is the moral equivilent of bombing your fellow countrymen. How can such immoral actions be allowed to continue?

God simply doesn't exist, and if you don't believe it, just get carried away by the 'dazzling motion graphics' and 'sweeping soundtrack'.

Personally, I favor freedom of expression for all sides. If the Christian conservatives wish to have a voice on the internet, they should have one. You are not required to agree with them. You are not required to read their stuff. You are not prevented from criticizing (American spelling, I may be a terrorist) them. Why do you feel that they should be silenced for criticizing (another bomb for Jesus) something they disagree with?

If they were attempting to have Wikipedia banned, I would be on your side. They haven't however.

I wish they only insisted on writing labor, instead of labour. It would save a few abortion clinics atleast.

I think the saying "to put someone out of their misery" comes to mind. It's the humanists in us, you know :)

they have freedom of speech, just like Anne Coulter. though I still have the right to call her an evil bitch deserving of death. When people say such flagrantly ignorant things it's annoying.

I dont know if I should laugh or cry.

I think laughter is the best response to this, its usually how I deal with children throwing tantrums when things dont go their way.

B.C.E/C.E are pretty stupid replacements for B.C/A.D, to be fair.

edit:

Quote:

Polls show that about twice as many Americans identify themselves as "conservative" compared with "liberal", and that ratio has been increasing for two decades. But on Wikipedia, about three times as many editors identify themselves as "liberal" compared with "conservative".That suggests Wikipedia is six times more liberal than the American public.
Someone sucks at maths.

I have never understood how the word liberal could be an insult

I have even our colonial cousins use the phrase 'dangerous liberal'.

How exactly is that not an oxymoron?

It has not yet been determined by baraminologists whether kangaroos form a holobaramin with the wallaby, tree-kangaroo, wallaroo, pademelon and quokka, or if all these species are in fact apobaraminic or polybaraminic.

Also according to creation science, after the Flood, kangaroos bred from the Ark passengers migrated to Australia. There is debate whether this migration happened over land[2] -- as Australia was still for a time connected to the Middle East before the supercontinent of Pangea broke apart[3] -- or if they rafted on mats of vegetation torn up by the receding flood waters.[2]

:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

I love how they call biblefreaks "creation scientists", now that's an oxymoron!

Didn't you read the article? They made their way over by land. After all, the Pangean supercontinent existed 5000 years ago.
