Maths Exam, ££ reward

Mods: You can delete this, I've rang a old mate thats just finished his A Level maths, hes gonna tutor me through it for the money
----------------
Hey, loooong time lurker, used to post a bit here, but still been reading.

Basically I have a job interview very soon, and you have to pass a maths exam to get in. But I havnt looked at this stuff since I left school.

Its short, and not that hard if you studied maths at A level, bit of calculus, standard deviation, logic stuff.

I can do most of the questions but, I dont know if my answers are correct, or if I am using the easiest method, theres a 20min time limit on the paper! So speed is important.

Be very glad if anyone could answer the questions on it, maybe on paper with written explanation of what you are doing etc. Please send by Saturday if possible, earlier you are more chance of getting the £25.

Best one gets £25 sent over paypal / full tilt poker / poker stars. Maybe smaller amounts for people that help out too.

You can PM me for my email address to send me your answers.
Cheers

If you are serious and if you use other people's work to fake your way in to a job then you are guilty of Fraud and the circumstances will be taken very seriously by a sentencing judge

I think (might be mistaken here?) that this is only an example maths test, so he can check if he's doing it right. So it isn't fraud.

Its a practice test, I already have most of the answers.
You do not submit this to them or anything, you just sit a different 20min exam in the interview.

All I wanted to see was a revision on how to perform calcuations etc. as atm Im googling to remind myself. As I havnt touched maths for 5 or 6 years. And i think I might be doing things the long way.

If you think im cheating dont help, was probably silly to ask I just remember years ago when this place was busy there was a few smart maths guys who could probably do me a favour and wudnt mind the £25 for 30mins work.

Doesnt matter.

Thanks Tomkat, I took down the link as getting this job means alot to me. And didnt want anything to ruin it.
Although maybe them finding out I was willing to pay to get some tuition shows how much i want to do well in the exam to get the job.

Yeh its tough to remember from 5 years ago, but alot of its coming back with the help of wikipedia and various websites, would still like to compare my methods and answers but its cool, got a friend coming over to go through a few things with me. So hopefully I'll be fine.

Cheers

Can I see the link? You said basic stuff and then mentioned standard deviation which is statistics (and therefore the work of the devil. Oh hi Nodrog.)

he removed the link because the whole thing is a lot more dodgy than he's managed to convince 'I'm a wannabe blue peter presenter' Tomkat

I could repost the link, but I dont need as much help as I did before, just need to get my head around logs again and I'm sorted.
There was only one standard deviation qu, and as its a non calc exam you just needed to find the mean and fill out the formula and leave it at that
Surprised how quick alot of it comes back to you, but I always sucked at logs.
