to TK about teaching

Some of us had a short discussion about the teaching proffesion in #forums. Sadly you were not there to join us, but we have a question for you. It was iniatally brought up by Deepflow.

Do teachers in the UK get parts of they're studentloan refunded in any way?

I think it gets completely wiped out if you teach for five years.

Then again, I'm not a teacher.

I honestly don't know. I don't have a student loan (as I'm from Jersey).

I think that they scrap student loans - or at least they used to. I don't know the specifics though, like how long you have to teach etc.

I'll try and remember to find out tomorrow!

What exactly are student loans anyway?
Dont think we have them over here in Belgium.

It's when you go to university and you're like "yo government, I need money for partyin'" and the government is like "you studyin'?" and you're all "yeah dawg, now gimme" and they go "fine nigga, here". And then after 5 years they'll be all "yo, that money we gave you, we need it back w/ innerest" and then they bleed your wallet like a stock pig.

Basically. I hope that helps. If you have any more questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them. Sincerily,

If you bother to google, you will find that some states offers money to teachers who teach in certain schools and so on.
