old comics
 

as i have read the post of old books, i realised that i have a lot of really old comics laying around.

as they are really just laying around i could sell these, has anybody some knowlege of old comics?
most of them are superman, flash etc. 30+ years old

is there any online wiki with prices etc. ?

would be really nice :)

you would be better off contacting a dealer, um, i'm assuming you are in germany so i woldnt know where to start over there, contact your nearest specialist comic shop and they should be able to point you in the right direction though.

a quick google gives me http://www.comicspriceguide.com/ which at least seems to know what its doing, although i must admit its been a long long time since i looked at prices so i don't know how accurate it is.

another thing though, as with everything, condition is PARAMOUNT, so i hope you havent just been keeping them all stuffed in boxes, but have taken loving care of each and every one ;)

buy yourself some comic bags - available from most comic shops, and if you are ever going to take them to a dealer make sure that you put them in the bags first


EDIT: obviously this advice only holds if the comics are in good to mint condition, if they are only average then there is no point in trying to make them look better as in most cases the price will already be drastically reduced by then
