JBG stocks up for Christmas

Quote:

Gardai in Dublin are on the lookout for 36,000 pints of beer stolen from the Guinness brewery.

More than 400 kegs were stolen in what is likely to be the largest carry-out of drink this Christmas.

A man drove a truck into the yard on Wednesday, and left with a trailer containing 180 Guinness kegs, 180 Budweiser kegs, and 90 Carslberg kegs.

Police estimated the haul to be worth at least 64,000 euros (£46,000), at wholesale prices. However, this figure would be considerably more if Dublin pub prices were charged.

The robbery occurred the same day as a special Garda operation known as Freeflow was launched to ease traffic congestion and combat drink-driving over Christmas. Freeflow officers manning many checkpoints across the city are expected now also to be on the look out for any large quantity of stolen drink flowing through Dublin's traffic.

The stolen trailer has since been found at Slane Hill in County Meath. It was empty.

Isn't this just an advert for Freeflow?

so, 450 kegs, lets assume that they are the smaller 50 gallon rather than the 110 kegs, 8 pints to a gallon, whats the price for a pint in ireland? i hear its not cheap, £3 maybe?

so, 8*50*450 = 180000

180000*£3 = £540000, which is a HELL of a lot more than the £46k they are quoting, and if they are 110 gallon kegs you can more than double that figure, potentially giving a haul over a million pounds.... :o

they've quoted, said, the real value. the fact is you don't understand real value. real value of a theft is what your insurance will pay.

again i would say

"quiet down boy! you don't understand money" - it's not like you've ever made any

I've been on the internet the whole time okay you can't prove anything **** all of you.

Amusingly I noticed when I was working in guinness over the summer that their security had gotten far lazier than the last time I worked there.

Yahwe is merely a porky, uncivilised and vacuous fascist hiding behind an increasingly thick veneer of highly polished excrement. This is a person who genuinely equates himself to "God" (bless) and truly believes that most people are scum. Aside from being a quintessentially stereotypical lawyer he is an awful excuse for a human being.

Why do you (roadrunner), or anyone else, give a flying **** what he says, thinks or does?

Put him on ignore if you care that much and don't worry about the conversations you miss out on because they invariably end up with yahwe professing his love for his internet persona in a supposedly cryptic way perhaps to increase his "allure". As an aside, I have no idea why he does this except to increase his self-esteem. If it were not for his carefully crafted persona I would call him an excellent poster and perhaps even thinker, although unfortunately he appears to direct that skill towards crafting his persona as opposed to anything worthwhile. Personally, I have no intention to put up with all his persona entails, which I personally cannot abide, in order to converse with him.

Neg rep him instead of getting worked up.

Yahwe is just a troll, and more creative a one than a lot of others, get over it and stop being a whiny bitch.

I have been away for awhile. It is reassuring to know that some things are unchanging.
