German help
I've received a bundle of German text that needs some translating. I've tried online translators but they're pretty much shit. I'd be most greatful.
Danke. |
Re: German help
of course online translators are shit, they are too literal, if you really need it translating, i can probably get it done, but it wont be until tomorrow, and i cant tell you how good it will be (my wife speaks quite good german)
|
Re: German help
Post or PM away. Won't guarantee anything, but I might look into it...
(I'm German btw if someone didn't know) |
Re: German help

du ist ein knallkopf ich esse deine mutter vor meine fruhstuck du ist ein kinderschindler and tbh i dont even know if those are correct:( |

Re: German help
Speaking of which, I picked up a swiss-german music cd off a travelling tourist the other day.
S'bescht Mundart-Album wo's git (apparently it sold quite well over in swedan) I haven't got a clue what any of them are singing but it sounds kinda whacky. |
Re: German help
Maybe we are coarser here in Norway, but we learned the real swearwords....
Incidentaly I only had 2 weeks of German, after which I was thrown out of class and forced to take second-level French (I hardly spoke a word of it....) |
Re: German help
My only good memory of learning German was running around Munich shouting 'wir haben das Krieg gewonnen' when on a school trip.
I've mentioned that before i'm sure. I chose German at school because i refuse to learn French out of principle. |
Re: German help
Wir haben den Krieg gewonnen ;)
Androme, post it here or pm me - i'll give it a go. Give me good practise for my exam on tuesday. |
Re: German help
if its not too long post it here
|
Re: German help
I spent about 10 years learning German at school. I can just about say my name, where I live, and name my family etc. Oh, and
mein leiblingsfussballmanshaft* (spelling??) ist <> Edit: *writing man shaft on these forums is suicide, I know |
Re: German help
i thought id post this link here, if any of you should ever need a dictionary:
http://dict.leo.org "Meine Lieblingsfußballmannschaft" :) |
Re: German help
Lieblingsfussballmannschaft I believe :)
Edit: Ignore me, I was beaten to it and didn't even notice. |
Re: German help
I ate your mother for breakfast is a fantastic sentence.
I should get back into the german thing again. I much prefer german grammar to french grammar. |

Re: German help
Yes, my most recent memory is from 8 years ago.
A time when a man could be in employ as a clown and not suffer constant duress from society. Happier times for all i feel :( |

Re: German help
The only German I know is what you read in those "Commando" war magazines, and Sven Hassel books.
"Pig dog!" "Thunder and lightening!" "My god!" "Faster! faster!" "No" |
Re: German help
i know the words 'heil'
'ja' and 'achtung' i could pass for a german any day. |
Re: German help
From Playing Commandos (the PC Game) i also picked up the ever-useful phrase 'ein ka-lester' (no idea what the exact word is but i think it means 'a dead man').
That turned some heads when the exchange students came over aswell. My god we were funny :( |
